• How many MTP cycles will be required?

• How many environments will be needed?

• How best to incorporate ongoing development efforts to each MTP?

• How best to incorporate Oracle PeopleSoft updates into your MTP cycles?

• How best to ensure all of your corporate information is included in each MTP?

• How best to test your environments from an Infrastructure perspective?

• When to have your environments ready for the key phase of an upgrade - unit, system, integrations, parallel, performance, user acceptance testing, dry MTP runs and go live?

• Who are the resources required per MTP cycle?

• When will resources be needed?

 

Additionally, a key component of your upgrade is to define a "Go Live" plan.  Through the course of each MTP cycle, a continuously refined "Go Live" plan is maintained. It sets clear expectations, removes assumptions and perceptions, defines timelines and provides all project resources with view on how the go live/cut-over process will be run.
